Cancellation Policy

Our Commitment
At Dominican Transfer Tours, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible while allowing us to manage our schedule and commitments to our drivers and guides. We encourage all clients to read this policy carefully before booking.
Key Policy: A full refund is guaranteed for cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time for any tour or transfer service.
Cancellations by the Client
1. Cancellations with Full Refund
- To receive a 100% refund, you must cancel your booking at least **48 hours before** your scheduled tour or transfer pickup time.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp or email to be considered valid.
2. Cancellations Not Eligible for Refund
- Cancellations made **within 48 hours** of the scheduled service time are non-refundable.
- **No-shows:** If you fail to appear at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time without prior notification, you will be considered a "no-show." No-shows are non-refundable and will be charged the full amount of the booking. For airport pickups, we will wait up to 60 minutes after your flight has landed. For hotel pickups, we will wait up to 15 minutes.
Cancellations by Dominican Transfer Tours
In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking, you will be notified immediately. This may occur due to:
- Extreme weather conditions (e.g., hurricanes) that make operating the service unsafe.
- Unforeseen operational issues or vehicle maintenance emergencies.
- Insufficient number of participants for a shared tour to operate.
In such cases, we will offer you two options:
1. A full 100% refund of the amount paid.
2. The option to reschedule your service for another available date at no additional cost.
Modifications to Your Booking
If you need to change the date, time, or details of your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. All modification requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- Requests to modify a booking must be made at least **24 hours in advance**.
- We will do our best to accommodate your request at no extra charge. However, if the change results in a higher-priced service (e.g., changing to a more distant destination), you will be responsible for the price difference.
Special Circumstances
Flight Cancellations or Major Delays
If your flight is canceled by the airline, please notify us immediately. We will work with you to reschedule your transfer. If rescheduling is not possible, we will evaluate the situation for a potential refund on a case-by-case basis, provided official proof of cancellation is supplied.
Cruise Ship Itinerary Changes
If your cruise ship is unable to dock or changes its itinerary for reasons beyond your control, please inform us as soon as you are aware. We will provide a full refund upon receiving official notification from the cruise line.
