1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a service with Dominican Transfer Tours ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client," "you," "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all services, including airport transfers, private transportation, and tours booked through our website (https://dominicantransfertours.com), WhatsApp, email, or any other communication channel.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed in writing via WhatsApp or email. A booking is not considered final until you have received an official confirmation from us.
  • Payment: Full payment is required in advance to secure your booking, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We will provide secure payment options upon confirming your service details.
  • Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of booking, including but not limited to passenger names, flight numbers, arrival/departure times, hotel names, and pickup addresses. We are not liable for any issues that arise from incorrect information provided by you.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We adhere to a strict cancellation policy to manage our schedule and commitments. Please refer to our official Cancellation Policy page for full details. A summary is provided below:

  • Cancellation by Client: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service time are non-refundable. "No-shows" will be charged the full amount.
  • Cancellation by Company: In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle breakdown, extreme weather), we will offer the choice of a full refund or rescheduling the service at no additional cost.
  • Changes to Bookings: Changes to your booking (e.g., time, location) are subject to availability and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they are not guaranteed.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Punctuality: For departures from hotels or residences, clients are expected to be ready at the scheduled pickup time. Our drivers will wait a maximum of 15 minutes before the service is considered a "no-show."
  • Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse service to any person who is disruptive, intoxicated, or poses a threat to the safety of our driver or other passengers. No refund will be issued in such cases.
  • Luggage: Standard luggage allowance is one large suitcase and one carry-on bag per person. You must inform us at the time of booking if you have oversized luggage (e.g., golf bags, surfboards, large boxes) as additional charges may apply and a larger vehicle may be required.
  • Personal Property: Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during the service.

5. Company Liability and Responsibilities

  • Service Provision: We commit to providing the booked service with a professional driver in a clean, safe, and fully insured vehicle.
  • Flight Monitoring: For airport pickups, we will monitor your flight status and adjust the pickup time accordingly for delays at no extra charge.
  • Liability Limitation: Our liability is limited to the cost of the booked service. We are not liable for any indirect losses or damages.
  • Force Majeure: We will not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or failures to perform our duties due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather conditions (hurricanes), traffic accidents, road closures, strikes, or government actions.

6. Child Safety

Child safety seats (infant seats, car seats, boosters) are available free of charge but **must be requested at the time of booking**. It is the client's responsibility to specify the age of the child to ensure the correct seat is provided. While we provide the seats, it is the parent's or guardian's responsibility to ensure the child is securely fastened.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
